SMEC - A SUCCESS STORY

SMEC - A SUCCESS STORY

More than 30 years, SMEC has been successfully developing, manufacturing and selling high-quality CNC machine tools worldwide.

An increasing number of German companies are relying on the progressive technology from South Korea. The founding of the German subsidiary SMEC Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH in January 2014 was therefore a logical consequence to react to the growing demand of the market.

Under the new company name, competencies in distribution and service are united to evolve SMEC to one of the most important manufacturers of CNC machine tools in Germany, Austria and Hungary in the medium term. The flat-guided and heavy-duty machines in the turning and milling sector are based on the proven Mori-Seiki technology, which is continuously enhanced by SMEC. This includes adjustments that are specifically made for the German market: for example the equipment of the machines with a Siemens control unit. Furthermore, you can individually configure numerous options and accessories for the SMEC machines; from simple bar loaders to complex automation solutions.

We attach great importance to quality – as well with regard to service and consultancy

In addition to the quality of the machines, which is equal to those of our competitors, our goal is to offer you an extensive service. This includes spare parts, as well as a reliable service and distribution network, which allows us to react quickly to your wishes and expectations also after your purchase. In addition, regular servicing through our service partners ensure that the machines operate smoothly even in three-shift operation and wearing parts are exchanged in due time. And, last but not least, we offer training courses for your employees in order to learn how to handle the machines correctly.
